The stat is that there are about 270 million guns in America. There are obviously less owners than that since there's a lot of gun fetishists who could fill the back of a pick up truck with all their toys.

Ok Dylan lets go with the lowball estimate I found with Newsweek, that says gun ownership has declined to about 32%.
That's roughly 10.1 million people. Now run that with what the CDC says about the yearly average of gunshot wounds treated.
