Everyone is already an anarchist (maybe except comrade), everyone knows interactions should be voluntary, they just need to stop making an exception for government. That isnt a magic solution, but it will foster an environment that will present solutions.

And I'm just gonna say this here: this is the first election where I've felt legitimate fear. Not party driven fear, not self indulgent ideological fear, but the fear that Trump is going to gut this country. I'm not trying to be emo, to be extreme, or to be a "member of the party that lost." I believe, and my thoughts are continually supported by his potential cabinet appointees daily, that the next four years may turn out to be a tragedy for this country. And I wish I could find some way or some person that could disabuse me of that notion.

Either they're effective in their evil plans, in which case they will consolidate a ferocious opposition, or they're incompetent, in which case we just sit back and watch them destroy themselves, though there will unfortunately be collateral damage either way.

I'm hopeful though we won't need Europe to invade us to liberate us from our dear leader.

His foreign policy and his economic policy could destroy us from the inside out. I'm not concerned about an authoritarian power grab as much as I am the belligerence of his unilateralism in his economic and foreign policies.

The first option then: opposition.

Elections aren't the only part of the democratic process.

The GOP, for whatever reason, thinks it has a mandate. There's not much anyone can do. Honestly I'd rather they did what they want unrestrained. Let the country get a clear picture of what that looks like.

Well, if the anti Trump protests are anything to go by, people are not going to take this lying down.

Oh they'll try to implement their policies, but when they're opposed they'll either have to compromise or revert to oppressive tactics. Former, sure maybe people don't see the full effects of unrestrained policy, but they'd already be politicized so doesn't matter. Latter and we get closer to the European liberation scenario, though I'm confident most Americans truly are a freedom-loving people.
