How can you say that "over the long count it seems to help" when all of the actual data suggests the complete opposite conclusion?
The Chinese society was never secular. The political party was secular, but not the society. The Chinese "Communist Party" simply learned that you cannot force people from their religious inclinations.

You try to avoid substantial arguments period, as this entire forum and most every post of yours is a testament to. The reason is for others to judge. I myself have my own assessment of the reason.
