if poland moved into ukraine i wouldn't really care. it's because it's another great power that's doing it which is the reason for alarm. the problem is because we know we could beat up poland easily we'd be more ra ra ra lets go get them, but since there's someone that would give us a fight we back down. but... that is exactly why we should stand ground, for all the historical reasons. in the long run a more powerful poland? not that big of a deal. an unrestrained imperial russia? that's a problem
