also though there have been many arrests and whatnot as this investigation has gone, and the man who thinks there is a secret forbidden history that there is a conspiracy to keep from us where humans have lived for millions of years or something, of which there is actually no evidence other than people making shit up to sell to the gullible masses, he thinks that means there's nothing even though we have concrete evidence that there is something more than nothing

Without more movement on wages and in a pretty rapid fashion I feel like the Dems can take the House. Tariffs are starting to bite and Trump seems to be coming around to that realization - but he's not going to back down on China so I think it's here to stay. I don't think he expected the harsh rebuke he got from the right on the assistance to the agri sector post sanctions and he's paying for it.

Broader picture - yes the Dems lack a cohesive macro message. Local level - they're winning elections and in some cases with pretty progressive candidates (mostly in solid blue areas but still). As long as the candidates stick to what matters to their local constituencies I think they'll do better than most think - the problem is actually trying to come up with an appeal that can be broadcast across the country. Just let that develop or take shape in the lead up to the next Presidential election - focus on what works for your district.
