So gay marriage is the only platform for Dems to run on, as they are a single-issue party.

The only way that this could work is, and this has been tried, if you're defining marriage as strictly a pro-creating agreement.
So that would mean that all the married people who can't or won't pro-create--their marriages are illegitimate allegedly. As are those who adopt.
Plus, countless gay couples now adopt or pro-create so this really is all just one epic waste of time now, isn't it?
