Dude is merely mis-categorizing his argument. He should be talking in terms of principles not using some silly form of peer pressure to get wealthy people to upgrade their health insurance for the betterment of the community.
The argument is simple. It is not a realistic expectation to decide what you want to pay for healthcare. The only reasonable expectation is that you can decide how healthy you want to be. What your contribution to the system comes out as, is directly proportional to your vote.
