Can we all agree that one solution (wasn't mine, can't take credit) is to stop throwing so many non-violent offenders in prison?

I think the higher recidivism rate for crimes like petty theft and the like can be attributed to them being crimes of economic disadvantage. A lot of people in lower socioeconomic groups get locked into a cycle that is very difficult if not impossible to break. Improved social and other environmental factors can solve these crimes better than police work can.

Murder etc are impulse crimes. I think they will always be a part of the human experience.

And the 2nd time, when Zimmerman showed up at this guy's work place, Zim had a gun.. I guess it was legal, but why was he sitting outside this guy's place of work with a gun?

This is his 3-4 run-in with the law since his acquittal.. This time I guess he screamed 'Do you know who I am'? to this guy after the road rage incident..

Zim is this decade's OJ.. He got away with something the 1st time, so now he thinks he's untouchable.. But eventually he's going to end up in jail.
