Woah, there is a huge f**k difference between what bush did, and advocating for a strong leadership role for America. People hate bush because he was dumb. Believing in American military power, diplomacy, and leadership does not mean randomly f**k up countries because they have a mean leader with a funny mustache.
America took the lead in Afghanistan, and rightly so. We shattered al-queda. Out mistake was listening to the idiots who thought we had some responsibility tonrebuild Afghanistan. We didn't and we shouldn't have tried. But the invasion itself was necessary and put an end ultimately to the world largest haven for terrorists.
Libya was not a mistake. We dropped bombs, and as ugly as Libya may be now, the alternative was a protracted civil war that would have slaughtered hundreds of thousands. Sound familiar?
Americaa is the greatest force for good in the world, because we are the only liberal democratic state with the balls to stand up to the idiots of the world. We lose credibility when we wield that power irrisponsibly, as bush did. But that does not mean wielding our power is inherently bad. As sad as it is to say, the only reason you isolationists have any leg to stand on is because we created a situation where all the crazy Islamists blow themselves up in Iraq or Syria, instead of on our soil. It's easy to be isolationist 10 years after an attack. We will see which bandwagon you all hop on though when Americans die on our soil.
DON'T BE A TOUGH GUY. DON'T BE A FOOL! I WILL CALL YOU LATER.
