to be fair philly, i don't think republicans will champion many of those causes.
raising minimum wage is a fine state initaltive but at a federal level it's a nonstarter for republicans. so is single payer. infrastructure spending is also known as pork spending, but maybe some republicans can get on board. education reform i think is good and republicans get get on board that train, and i don't think private schools are necessarily the only way they would. i have long thought that teacher professional partnerships are a good idea. not private schools but rather teachers contract with the school board and handle the administration themselves and have to meet x or y criteria. (an aside but i think it's interesting... did you know a C in the UK is considered failing in the US, and a C in the US is considered an A in the UK? so is an A and a B, of course).
