You're on too something Galt, maybe billions of dollars spent on a enrichment program, and years of sanctions was just one big bluff.

Ok, I'll chalk that up to your poor reading comprehension. Dealing with the Saudis is what it is. Pointing this out isn't defending or endorsing anything. You seem to have a silly naive view of this issue.
I'd love to see the US tell the house of Saud to f**k off, but that's not practical as of now. So you deal with the devil you know. Sorry, but that's straight pragmatism.
