Yes it is. Or it surely can be. In fact, since your "lawyer" said it's not violent, funny I can find a lawyer who says it is:
http://www.defenselawutah.com/CriminalD ... rimes.aspxYou just ignore everything that states you are wrong. Prof, even the f**k supreme court said burglary is violent, and what do these people do? Instead of accepting and learning, they continue to argue and embarrass themselves.
I can find several links stating that many states regard burglary as a violent crime. But not the actual statutes. Just people saying it. That's not worth much so I think there are too many variables to say that "all burglaries are non-violent" or "all are violent." But I will surely say that if someone is breaking into your house, just because you don't happen to be there at the moment, doesn't make his crime any better.
But please people, my OP wasn't about burglary being violent or not. It was supposed to be a thread about how assault rifles can be used for good. Not 15 pages of childish back and forth crap about whether this dog has a tail or not.
"Police protection" is an oxymoron. Gun laws are like masturbation, they both feel really good, but after you're done you realize you haven't accomplished anything."
