There's been a concentrated effort to attack video games and the tech industry for some reason, possibly because it's the lowest hanging fruit they could find and requires zero effort. The really hilarious part is they're mostly using recycled christian conservative Jack Thompson moral panic arguements. Apparently the idea that virtual violence, "murdering" simplistic collections of code turns you into a cold-blooded killer is ridiculous, but a pixelated boob is totally about teaching misogyny/patriarchy to turn young boys into woman-hating rapists. And of course there's the same video game "journalists" who made Jack Thompson a widely mocked internet meme falling over themselves to give awards and applaud people using his exact same fallacious and retarded arguements.
