Conservatives used to reserve their ire for the idle poor for feeling entitled to something for nothing, but now the working poor are just as bad for feeling entitled to some modest level of prosperity for going to work every day. Funny, I think that good pay for an honest day's work used to be a conservative talking point, but now that only applies to the gifted, the best and the brightest. The rest of society can f**k off for having the nerve to want a decent life.

Because ahead is a RELATIVE term. We can't all get ahead. Ahead of what? There will always be the rich and the poor. The degree of disparity between the two is the concern, especially when the middle class is disappearing.
