"Well, the other guys do it, too..." is not an argument.
I'm just pointing out why I think its fair to call them the embodiment of the ills of capitalism, as Galt put it. They really do exemplify them all. On a tremendous scale. Its true that I don't compare them to a massive energy company. In terms of raw damage its hard to compare a consumer electronics operation to something involved in massive oil spills, etc. Energy is dirty, and so the results are dirty.
And I'm also not claiming they are suck on the scale of the banking sector. Just because someone else is also shit doesn't absolve Apple of anything. As far as the big tech companies go, i think its fair to say they are the most evil of the bunch.

Well, if they make record profit, they should pay record tax.
