I've said if before, I'll say it again: long ago somebody figured out that if you let the populace have all the guns they want, keep 'em nice and distracted, and it's inevitable that we slip into oligarchy/plutocracy. The moment they might suspect something is up, tell them their guns are at risk. Guns = pacifiers.

You can have all the guns you want Ted Nugent, but with my money you will bow before me and you'll never do anything about it with your guns, except shoot each other. It also helped when we decided that corporations are people and when we passed Citizens United.



Now, let's spend the next half-hour segment arguing about Chipotle-gate!
