Cost benefit on lying is extremely high if you are good at it and do it appropriately. I think it's one of the most awesome things about the human mind. The ability to shape reality of others, despite no basis in actual reality. It's a huge sim glitch. Honestly, if you don't lie or omit information to the point of deception on a regular basis, you have a mental handicap. It's a necessary social lubricant and I guess it shouldn't be surprising that you aspies don't get it.
