Did the us ever cede control? If not it would seem not to have violated that provision. Merely making control conditional on an event is not actually ceding control if the condition never occurs.

Sure, I support terrorism as defined by you (which is that any threat of violence against another country outside thr UN Charter is terrorism). Everybody is a terrorist! Oh no! Haha. To me the definition loses some force when it applies to everybody.

US and Iran are both signatories to the same non nuclear proliferation treaty, meanwhile we arm our allies who are not signatories with nuclear weapons. Our allies that just happen to be Iran's enemy.

That's a little beyond "imperfect compliance with international law" and well into "corrupt sack of shit" territory. And what other type of response from Iran to that level of bull shitting would you expect?

Force can serve higher moral purposes. In this instance I believe the international terrorist coalition of terrorists seeking to terrorize Iran and kill Persian babies is pursuing a morally sound terrorist goal.

My terrorist point is that use of terroristic tactics and pursuit of a higher moral good are not mutually exclusive. We can terrorize Iran in a morally useful way.

One -- the article provisions you cite to say nothing about training and outfitting.

Two -- Iran will use nukes as a buffer to allow themselves to throw their weight around in the region. If you distrust iran's regional goals as much as I do this is a bad thing.
