tbf, the secretary of education shouldn't exist. states should do what they will. then you can have places of spending massive amounts on education like califonia ... and still manage to have the worst literacy rates in the nation. it's california's prerogative, and i don't care if they suck

I don't need to watch clips, I watched the entire 3.5 hour testimony, I don't get my information from 2 minute summarys.
She wouldn't be my first choice for it, and she did make a few mistakes on questions, but it doesn't mean she can't run the organization. The few questions she stumbled on were on growth vs proficiency and her statements on accountability. Otherwise a majority of her appearance speaking was fine. In regards to weapons, she first answered that it should be left to local and state (as it should be) then made a joke about grizzly bears. The media and the left immediately took that as "OMG SHE WANTS GUNS IN SCHOOLS" and then all of you took it hook, line and sinker. If you of others actually watches the entire thing, you would judge her differently.
There is alot more to this debate, her past, present and her testimony, the few clips you guys watched online and your condescending attitude.
