The whole notion of culture in one set of imaginary lines as opposed to another being more or less, or superior or inferior, or whatever, is itself culturally illiterate. On that basis, Europeans, being bathed in fantasies of their own superiority, are perhaps the most culturally bankrupt people on Earth.
Go, see it. Check it off the list. Spain is the best place on the whole continent for sights and food. But if you want to go somewhere interesting, find places where you won't be swamped in tourism from the entire planet, and a giant fake infrastructure designed to cash in on that tourism. Find places without airports.
