Yeah funny how you say the Baltic states are doing so bad yet PIIGS is doing far far worse:

Yeah, there was a massive drop in GDP in the baltics when austerity began but you cannot make an omelet without breaking a few eggs, there will be a downturn but its nothing more than bitter medicine, you swallow it, take the hit but you will recover. The fact that the baltics are now on their way up again (as opposed to the others) is a testament that real austerity is a success.

They didnt cut enough spending unlike the Baltics.

And baltics like Latvia have increased spending simply because their crisis has passed so they are back to normal, still not at pre-2007 levels (no country in EU is at pre 2007 levels anyway) but they are getting there so no problem.

Well Poland wasnt affected by the 2008 crisis so you putting them up there really doesnt count. Funny that you didnt bother with any of PIIGS stats since that would prove me right so all you can do is put cheap shots in. Its all about context after all.
