No, I'm actually not. But I would argue that common sense gun control would change the culture in a way that would make it significantly less likely for a 12 year old to get his hands on a sawed off shotgun. I'm not sure why gun nuts want to measure every effort at gun control by its ability to stop the latest school shooting. The problem is clearly a culture where guns are not treated as deadly weapons only to be handled by the trusted and trained, but rather as objects that anyone is entitled to simply by their American birth. That's not a culture of responsibility or moderation.
