The GOP is quite a f**k
If you took a poll of the issues, for the most part, I'm quite republican/ conservative. I believe, strongly, in the nuclear family. I believe i should be taxed for stuff I use and I don't feel that my money should go towards helping other people, I believe in small government
It's the other stupid shit that gets lumped in with the GOP that makes it impossible to vote for them. The anti abortion, anti education, anti gay marriage, anti drugs, anti health care.. The sad thing is, I agree with them about government handouts for the most part. I despise them. But then they go off and attack ALL minorities like every minority is the problem and every white person is the answer.
I'd be the first in line to vote for a true centrist GOP candidate. A La Vinnick in the West Wing. That is my perfect candidate. I wanted him to win so bad.
The problem is, you have the actual GOP, then you have neocons and you have people lumping the 2 together. Most GOP people who spout party lines do not understand that the vast majority of their platform goes against their own interest.
I'm not crazy about obama. he's not a terrible president, but I mean, who else could I vote for? The guy who wanted to ban the healthcare bill he started lol in romney?
