In the mini series John Adams, when he was over in France, one of the people there asked him why he is a lawyer, why can't you do something more interestingl ike being a painter. He said that, paraphrasing, that I'm a statesman so that my son can be a lawyer, and so that his son can be an artist.
If I have to worry about where I'm going to get my next meal from consonantly because I can't grow food because the ground is not fertile enough and there is not enough water to farm so I'm constantly out hunting for food. If I have to spend all my time worry about this f**k cape buffalo and this pack of lions that keep coming around at night, I generally do not have time to ask myself questions like, why do 2 objects of different weight fall at the exact same speed?
