Let me remind you, the OP is not about abortion it's about how is it that a "pro-life" governor would allow his state to execute a mentally ill man?

The same governor who, in another famous case let a probably innocent man die and tried to stuff the people providing the evidence? That's pro-life huh?

Like I said; you need another term for what these people REALLY stand for, because obviously it's not "life."

Again, for the third time, we are talking about somebody who is "pro-life" approving executing mentally ill people, not somebody who is "pro-life" approving the death penalty in general.

mental illness has nothing to do with it. both state and federal courts have deemed him competent, so his mental fitness for his understanding of his guilt is not even in question so there is no reason to not execute him. the case already went to the supreme court and there he is, sitting on death row.

but we don't like what the people decided!!! lets call perry names until he does what some people want by saying a bunch of lies to suit our purposes!

in fact, he has been tried by the state, found guilty by the people, and is to be executed by the state in accordance with the people's wishes. that some minority of people who conflate very different concepts really doesn't matter at all.
