TV can be just as educational as reading. Again, all your studies made no distinction regarding WHAT kids are watching. That's the important thing. Or do you think there is actually something that students development just by the fact they it is a screen then are looking at? Watch as many documentaries or news s you want, that's not damaging. Maybe watching power rangers or the kardasians is though. The point remains blindly limiting TV time is obtuse and authoritarian. If your kid loves watching science documentaries on NOVA, are you going to make him turn it off after 2 hours?
