the greeks over the persians, after multiple succesful invasions? and that happened like twice in 50 years, twice the persians took over (first time with multiple invasions itself) and twice the greeks routed them to end it? the germanic barbarians in teutoburg over the romans, who had, in the previous 10 years, conquered the rhineland/saxony and the low countries?
