again dylan, i'm not presupposing i know their intent. i'm not reasoning it out. i'm saying that it is conceivable, just as it is conceivable that someone f**k up (your position). but it doesn't matter, that's not the court's job. the congress and obama crafted and passed that law. i'm not going to pretend i know the inner workings of their minds. i only know what they as a collective came up with. and what they as a collective came up with is something that denies subsidies to people in some states. even roberts agrees with this plain reading. he then went out of his way to correct their mistake. it's like a parent correcting their child's essay after it's already been graded then telling the teacher that it's good, that's what the kid meant so they really should get an A+

i wasn't ever arguing it dylan. you were arguing against it, yes, but that doesn't mean that was ever my argument. go ahead. first, you should probably just take a picture of obama and some tissues and get it out of your system so you can be objective, but then read what i actually wrote again.

while you're at it, why don't you read what the congress actually wrote.

both these instances has to do with what you want someone else to write instead of what is actually written.
