But there is a problem with that, it's not "someone's else's irresponsibility" that they are suffering for, after all they alone have the ability to decide whether or not to carry the child to full term. At least according to your way of thinking.


If we follow your logic then we must conclude that:
1. Women are capable of deciding whether or not to have sex on their own.

2. And they have the entire decision making capability in their hands after conception.

How could an unwanted pregnancy possibly be anyone else's responsibility other than their own?

Well if both conditions 1 and 2 are true it is difficult to conclude anything other than that the mother is entirely responsible for a child's conception and birth and thus it's subsequent support.
