I'm well aware of the oaths. That's why I'm discounting the whole idea of it out hand. It would have to come from the brass...a group of people who are highly educated and generally politically dialed in. They aren't going to robotically say, "Yes, sir." and destroy the country.
If trump, on the other hand, becomes that domestic threat that the Constitution needs to be defended against...then we're talking about the only legitimate type of coup I can think of. Not that it would come to that. He'd presumably be impeached and removed from office far sooner...even by a Republican congress.
