Here's the thing about Piers Morgan. Of course he would invite Alex Jones on his show to further his connotations that gun owners are f**k whack-jobs. He's merely setting out now to bait the fringes, the wing nuts, so that when they drool and spit-up on his show, he can look right at the camera and tell liberal America they're absolutely right to rail against lawful gun owners and the 2nd Amendment.
It's just more agenda propellant. It's theater, no different from his other staged event when he shouted down John Lott and the rest. And in that case he was forcibly negating any contrary opinions, railing reactionary, bigoted, overbearing sensationalism against the very possibility that opposition might be properly allowed a voice. He insulted scholars who know literally metric tons more facts on the issue than he ever will, and he did it because he'd rather sing "gunz r bad la la la" than succumb to critical thought and qualitative debate.
Heck, if he was dressed in drag during either of these interviews he would have been Nancy Grace. Just sayin'.
This latest stunt is nothing but further interference in the pursuit of objective truth on this issue, and doing so purposefully (no doubt with much Brady Bill under-the-table money). He's directing canned theater to half-awake sheep. Deport that sucka, or tie him to a tree and beat him within an inch of his life. I'm for either option. Either way, his input into this debate is a colossally pedestrian, partisan, two-step shuffle.
