This is where the internet comes in. Most of these guys wouldn't have the balls to say to anyone's face in real life that they have the honest opinion that men and women shouldn't be mixed in battle. If they did, and a member of the military who has served with a woman in his unit was within ear shot, they'd be beat to shit.

The many reasons stated here are a bunch of unsubstantiated crap though.
Women are already serving in combat. 144 of them have been killed. There has been no breakdown in unit cohesion as a result. Furthermore, the standards to be met have not been decreased... so there is literally nothing on this thread that is an actual valid argument.

We have a simultaneous injection of uncloseted gay guys and women entering every phase of military operations now. The age of the silent female rape victim in the Army with no one to turn to is quickly coming to a close.
