If they were debating the issues and working earnestly to review research and come to a reasonable middle ground I might agree with you. Alas, they are largely campaigning and working on pet legislative products for their constituents.
I'm surprised to see you assume good faith on the part of Congress. You must be in that 7% that thinks they're doing a good job?
