the results of constant badgering of any other group doesn't result in this. it doesn't result in attacks that are excused (and saying this is what happens is an excuse) by majorities of X group worldwide. only parallel would be the jews, and they are more restrained, generally (they generally act as a nation state, with a few exceptions of individuals, such as the unfortunate kidnappings earlier).
if wave your hands around in front of a bear and stick your tongue out him if he swipes and kills you, you were being an idiot. you were provoking a wild animal.
the same cannot be said of people, unless, of course, you think they're a bunch of animals that can't contain themselves and act like people. i don't think they should get off that easily. they aren't children, they aren't animals. they are people, and we should hold them to the same level as we hold everyone else. and sticking your tongue out at someone who died 1400 years ago should not result in murder. it should also not be excused as caused by "badgering" as if muslims are a bunch of badgers and we're kicking their dens in. it's nothing like that, so stop excusing this behavior

My life has become a single, ongoing revelation that I haven’t been cynical enough.
