I'm not 100% sure where the conservative meme that Obama is a softie came from. It's hilariously out of step with reality though.

Will you guys please start framing the things the GOP "thinks" about obama as attempted portrayals and not what they actually think about him... it's f**k annoying to try to contribute to a conversation that is framed as if politicians of a certain party have an emotional or principle bias against another party. This is cynical strategy, not principle.
