I still think it was an over reaction by all, even the money donations. My guess is there will always be some that will never embrace the gay life style, regardless of any legislation. Are they also entitled to their view without the title of bigot? I don't agree with isis cutting off heads, does that make me a bigot? Would a VFW or American Legion denying membership to an army deserter make them discriminating bigots?

I find that fanaticism is (generally) reserved for social policy on the left, whereas the right seems to be fanatic about both economic and social issues. The exception would be for the truly hardcore left, like Marxists, who are as fanatic about their economics as the hardcore free market crowd. For the right, the exception is libertarians, who aren't fanatics about social issues.
Either way, yeah, extremists everywhere. I suppose I'm one of them.
