How about the Mexicans here. I see them driving around in pick-up trucks with all sorts of plastic crap attached like wind deflectors on their door windows, stainless steel naked women mudflaps and the like. Usually there is some Mexican circus music blaring and the driver is very proud of his lime green home-painted rims.

It's also a little bizarre to me. Senor Frogs isn't just some place in Cancun. It's a chain with locations in multiple warm weather cities in the US as well. It's basically the Hard Rock Cafe but with a tiki bar vibe. I've never set foot in one cause I have no interest in tourist traps, however, it's clear what that place is. It's a watering hole for people who are in a town where they don't have any friends to show them around and don't know any better about how to find a good spot to go using the Internet. I got a look at the Vegas location from the outside when I was there but I have family out there who guided me to the places worth actually going to. I feel bad for people who go there because they traveled far from home to a new city that they could have checked out but instead wasted their time in a chain restaurant. However his hateful disdain is another thing entirely.

And yes, indy's relentless finger-pointing at others on this board have apparently allowed him to get away with numerous bigoted comments in the past.

Here's another thing about the law itself that I don't understand. It seems that someone didn't think this out before writing it.

The law says that only people who were BORN as a MAN may enter a MEN's bathroom (and same for women).

Let's think this through. A person is born a man. At some point, they realize that they like men in a sexual way. Moreover, they feel that they should have been born as a woman, so they have sexual reassignment surgery. The end result is that you have a person who looks like a woman and wants to have sex with men. Aaaaaaannnnnnddddd - the homophobic guys in NC want that person to be in the bathroom right next to them while they are holding their dick in their hands?

Sorry, but if I were homophobic, I think I'd want that person to be as far away from me as possible!

It's even worse for women. After all, I've gone to the bathroom in public before (like, side of the road). And, I've seen women in the men's restroom (women's is too crowded or something). I really don't care. If they see something, that's their problem. Most men don't much care. But, imagine some 6'2" person-who-was-born-female but now sports a shlong and sexual desire for women . . . marching into the women's bathroom and dropping trou in a stall to take a whiz with the door left open. Most women would be horrified and would simply refuse to use the restroom.

Yeah, this is what happens when you pass knee-jerk laws to allow discrimination without thinking them through--you end up with unintended consequences because of the way the law was worded. Just like the apparently unintentional opening to discriminate against people who are having non-martial sex.

Remember that Florida law that was upheld allowing prayers to be held before some city council meeting? That one opened up a whole can of worms when satanists then demanded they get to have a prayer, along with Muslims.

There was also some sort of unintended consequences with the Hobby Lobby birth control issue but I can't remember what they were.
