http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/film/the-choice-2016/I'm fairly certain, after watching this piece, that my vote goes to Hilldawg easily. It chronicles Hilldawg's rise and what I'd actually consider Donald's downfall.
I think that some people see Hillary as a woman who thinks she's owed the position of POTUS due to how ambitious and shrewd she's been. She tried to pass healthcare reform as first lady and was literally annihilated for it. At the time it was viewed as her usurping her husband's power - that she made all the decisions. But why? I honestly think it was sexism - the good old boys just didn't like the idea of her doing anything outside of tending to the house, making everything presentable, and maintaining the patriarchal structure society still somewhat expects. She was ahead of her time when it comes to women in positions of power - and at one point she even passes on a huge opportunity following watergate and instead chooses to return to Bill in Arkansas. As callous as she may be today she's definitely had a heart in her past - a heart that overrode her own ambitions at one point (I guess you could argue that she thought she'd go farther with Bill but that's a lot of foresight and one kid later). No, I think both her experience with her counterparts as first lady as well as dealing with Bill's infidelities in the public light has caused to her to become "robotic." She simply doesn't trust anyone anymore. Can you blame her?
Her transparency with the media pretty much reflects that (or lack thereof), her distrust of the state department emails is emblematic of it (I'm an outlier here as I believe that Hillary is too smart to have made the mistakes claimed and actually think the state department was compromised - the GOP is just utilizing that to put her between a rock and a hard place), and I honestly think her "robotic" character is a reflection of the degree to which she really doesn't trust anybody. Everything is pre-planned, researched, and vetted. She's suffered multiple humiliations, some of which were through no fault of her own. Why would she want to talk to the media more than she already is obligated to after what's happened?
There's more that I want to say but I think I'll just start here. Try to keep it civil people.
