The thing is, does have anybody have absolute rights over another person, no matter how old they may be and whether they are your children or not?

Why was this law considered necessary, anyway? Is there are a low take up rate for the vaccine?

The debate is about whether exposing your child to fatal illnesses is a privilege or right or whatever else you want to call it reserved to parents or whether the government should deem it abuse.

We all pretty much agree that the government should be involved if a parent is physically or emotionally abusing a child, so let's not poison the well by trying to claim family should be immune from intervention.

How many children die or suffer from vaccination vs how many children die or suffer from not getting vaccinated? Let's first rely on science instead of rhetoric and philosophy.
