Okay, but here is the thing: precisely because you guys are so adamant about the individual versus collective aspects of that right, the police have a never-ending justification for militarization. And they will win. It is a losing strategy, as should be perfectly clear by now.
Without a national body to get behind, you are just playing into their hands. It makes them happy to see people interpret the Second as a primarily individual right, because an individual is almost entirely powerless on his own.
