Since this thread is taking a strange turn and my post was taking issue with the term progressive for an ideology and the dangers that represents to continuing said ideology, I would like to also add that I am glad to see this ruling.
If we aren't going to throw government out of marriage entirely, homosexuals should enjoy the same protections as any other minority.
