It really is a hilarious argument. To continue the road analogy:
"Yeah this road is really the best in the world. The special asphalt lets you reach previously unattainable speeds. It is a true technological masterpiece!"
"Well, I had heard that you had to pay $1000 to use it, that it requires special tires that most people don't own or have the ability to buy, and that it has far higher accident and fatality rates than all other roads."
"BEST IN THE WORLD. NUMBER ONE ROAD. CAN'T BE BEAT."
"But I don't care about just going fast. I also care about getting to my destination safely, making sure it is economically sensible for me and my family to use it, you know, the other things that make a good road."
"NOPE THIS ROAD IS THE BEST. NUMBER ONE ROAD EVER."
