I don't understand the anti-Russian sentiment. I don't see Russia as a greater threat to international peace and stability than the U.S. is.

well when we invaded iraq it wasn't part of a long con to also annex jordan, iran, kuwait, and saudi arabia. we also didn't start flying intercontinental bombers through egyptian airspace with our transponders off or threaten nuclear war with israel.

russia intends to diplomatically annex belarus, annex east ukraine, annex parts of georgia, bring parts of central asia in to the fold through the eurasian union, frequently flies bombers in european airspace with their transponders off (and has f**k up air traffic on a few occasions), and lavrov has repeatedly made stupid hints about nuking the united states.
