I wasn't thinking all whites will vote GOP. I'm just thinking of percentage of voters as a whole. I was also thinking in terms of 2016, not over the next 10 years.

Here's a couple tidbits..

If Fla goes blue in a 'normal' Prez election the Dem candidate will probably have Fla, NY, Cal, Il, NJ and PA locked up.. With 6 states that's 167 EC votes.. Only need 103 more with 44 states in play.. Needless to say the GOP candidate will be starting out in a hole..

In the last 6 Prez elections the Dems have won the popular vote 5 times..

Nothing happens overnight, but there is a trend developing.. As Dick Morris said: 'This isn't your father's America anymore'..

Well, that was part of my point too, that since Romney did have a pretty large group of folks who voted for him, at least with the popular vote, that this is not an example of an "outright rejection of the GOP agenda". To me, an outright rejection would be a vast majority of the country siding with Obama, like 70-80%, but maybe that's just me. Obviously, lots of people do reject the GOP agenda, but I'm just not seeing it as an "outright rejection". I think a very large segment of American society is not onboard with Obama's agenda.
