On a different note, I'm confused why everyone is so concerned about the 1st amendment with Trump. He hasn't done anything to suppress free-speech or the media, nor can he really. I understand his consistent lying and rhetoric is a problem, but in all fairness the media is garbage and really does need to be changed (not talking about government intervention here, just speaking in general that the media needs to change).

Aside from in the impropriety of the CiC going around the chain of command and dealing directly with this officer as opposed to the SecDef or even the JCOS if nothing else...yeah. That's f**k.
