The big issue with welfare benefits that's rarely discussed is other external factors. The housingbenefit debate is about the absolute tiny minority of claimants living in large properties in central London-its never about private landlords creaming off the state. The issues around single parents is about to baby making mums never about the astronomical childcare costs preventing many single parents getting back into work. The discussions around the 'benefit traps' rarely involves paucity of wages and a decent living standard. It's about scroungers, feckless claimants because we have a governmen tthat's rhetoric is classic divide and rule. This government are a bunch of nasty bastards. Demonising the sick, disabled and welfare claimants in general. It makes me sick and the Daily Fail play on that.

If she's able to save £250 a month from state handouts then that's £250 too much a month she receives.
