You're missing the point--I already know why the gov't won't do anything.

What's interesting is that people here aren't doing anything about our caste system, yet they claim to fight for freedom. This is freedom?

Like I said, you claim its not freedom so what do you want to happen then? Pitchforks and torches? Lynch mobs?

TBTF is the government's doing. sure the banks make the argument -- why wouldn't you, in your last grasps of trying to stay alive, that you are important and need to live. but the government is what created TBTF by propping up the banks. I agree with you TBTF is ridiculous. it's anti-capitalist. it's akin to nationalizing something. and i agree with you that money laundering for illegal activities like this should be properly punished.

I think Governments around the world are performing death of a thousand cuts on all the large banks. I don't think this level of scrutiny or charges filed is going to drop.
