I think it says a lot when France is putting forth this much effort to fight this war then what they did post 9-11 to help us with Al-queda.

Yea, I know. f**k that old word "allies." Wow, 4000 troops that had non-combat roles or extremely limited combat roles. Where were they in Iraq? So we just pick and choose which wars we help our allies with? Really? With friends like that who needs enemies? Remember the F the french T shirts? Those weren't made because of their support for our efforts.

But I don't want to derail the thread. It's not about the french and "our" war. Ya know, the war WE went and found ourselves. The one we started on 9-11, yea OUR war.

I fully support this action by the French. Because they are doing it means that there is little pressure on the US to do it.

I also would like make the following nominations:
- GB to take care of Syria
- Russia to feed Africa
- Spain to choose sides and fight in civil wars in Africa
- China to fight in Afghanistan
- Australia to fight NK
