The significance of issues are not judged by how they are delivered by the media/received by the public. If whether or not a story was in the news everyday determined if it was worth talking about, we wouldn't care about things like campaign finance reform, climate change, gay marriage, etc., since these issues are rarely talked about for a full news cycle.

Nobody but 40 percent of the population...

40% of the public think the White House mislead. Many more are very disappointed with the way it was handled. Misleading the public is a serious offense, and we should find out if it really happened. Instead, the White House has stonewalled and drug its feet through this entire process.

Mock it all you wish, but people died, and the administration seemingly lied about the causes, perhaps for political gain. It is worth investigating seriously. You are free to give Obama a free pass, many other Americans aren't.

Oh you're absolutely right! I see a real clamoring among the population here to make this... an issue.

In the TBTF thread we were talking about what it will take to mobilize people about an issue that actually threatens EVERYBODY here in this country and here we see yet another example of frauds and outrage pimps like Lindsay Graham offering up another red herring/distraction so we'll focus on something totally irrelevant so we never focus on his monied backers.
