New Orleans has the highest murder rate in the nation.

Why the hell would anyone remember any shooting in the murder capital of the world? I don't care how bad it was or who was shot.....New Orleans is a murder cesspool. Who cares?

It hasn't been forgotten. What you call "forgetting" is known to the rest of us as media priority. If the media isn't interested, america isn't interested.
